Moving from an island to a large country is not a simple process. My transition from The Bahamas to Boston was challenging, at times overwhelming, as I adjusted from a small, familiar environment to something much larger and unfamiliar.

Truthfully, it wasn’t something I overcame on my own. I was carried through it by the constant support of my family and friends, who stood by me every step of the way.

This project is dedicated to them. It is a reflection of the love, strength, and presence they continue to give me. Without them, I would not be where I am today, and words cannot fully express how much they mean to me.
